Cashier/ Office assistant:
Responsible for providing support for the administration, staff and customers of a computer services and cyber café company of approximately 15 employees and over 60 computer systems. Responsibilities include:
- In-depth ability to effectively communicate accounting information, policies, and/or procedures in a manner easily understood by customers.
- Customer service: All activities to ensure customer satisfaction and resolution of customer complaints.
- End of Shift duties: Balancing cash draw, cleaning, retail shelf stocking and ordering inventory.
- Answering the phone calls and referring to the correct personnel.
- Receive and receipt a variety of payments and other cash and cash-related transactions
- Maintain electronic files necessary to generate daily reports.
- Maintained store appearance; kept attractive price signs, clean shelves, floors, windows, etc.
- Knowledge of computer programs such as word, power point, excel, outlook etc.
- Organize papers and documents by filing and sorting.
- Ability to diagnose and fix many basic computer problems.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to work nights (6pm-2am) and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed.
- Able to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to read and understand written communications or instructions in English
- Must be self-motivated and solution-oriented.
- At least 18 years of age
- Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug screen and background check
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
Preferred Qualities:
- Experience in computer repair
- Associate degree in PC or consumer electronics repair
- Salary: $8-10/hr
